Geeking Out With Maps
October 29, 2008We’re big map geeks. We love anything that saves us time, makes us more productive, or is a Google Maps mash-up. We’ve discovered some especially useful ones recently and wanted to share them with you!
The first allows you to browse a Google map, click anywhere, and receive an instant postal address for that location. We’ve found it to be surprisingly accurate. Check it out HERE.

The next one populates movie theaters on a map. When you click on a theater, the movie times pop up. Sweet!

This next one is a lot of fun. If you were ever a kid, we’re sure you used to wonder what would happen if you dug a hole all the way to the other side of the world. I still have unfinished holes at certain beaches. Well THIS new Google Maps mash-up will tell you just that. Plug in a city or an exact address and it spits back the exact location of the “other side of the planet.” Groovy.
Ah Ha! The other side of the world is NOT in China. Sorry Mom.
